Here at the K9 Centre we train and supply all kinds of dogs for all kind of purposes.
We will guide you through the do’s and dont’s  and help you determine the right dog for your life style and its intended job even if that job is as a family companion animal for a child or fully trained protection or detection dog , there are always questions that need to be answered.

There are also different levels of training where all dogs are concerned so it is always advisable to call and discuss with our experienced trainers your exact requirements. For example a family protection trained dog is very different from a high level security trained dog and these dogs work in different environments so all these different issues need to be discussed.

Available Dogs, Training Time and Prices.
Your K9 is personally selected by our trainers at K9 Centre  and this dog will be the dog exclusively for you and your needs and it makes no difference if it is one dog for a family situation or a complete dog squad setup with ten canines. 
The minimum training time that is required  for each dog is generally 3 months depending on personal training requirements for the type of dog required.

Detection dogs
K9 Centre  offers dogs that are trained for Explosives Detection, Drug Detection, and Termite Detection, Accelerants and Humans Alive and deceased.

Drug Detection Dogs
Our specialist trained drug  detection dogs can detect a wide variety of modern day illegal drugs  such as Speed, Ice, Crack, Cocaine,  Heroin, Marijuana and LSD just to name a few. Our dogs are trained to search areas and people and are totally safe in a public environment. Drug detection searches by our trained dogs are less intrusive than other testing alternatives on the market. The dogs we train for this job are not chosen on breed but on ability , although we do prefer Beagles, Labradors, German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois.

Explosives Detection Dogs
All K9 Centre, Explosive detection dogs also known as bomb dogs are trained on real explosives odour. This is incorporated into our realistic training regime thus providing you with some of the best quality explosive detection dogs in the world. These dogs undergo training for at least  12 weeks, by qualified and experienced trainers. At the end of this time once tested and certified by qualified professionals these dogs will be at a fully operational standard comparable with any explosive detection dogs sold world wide

Accelerant  Detection Dogs
Also known as arson dogs. An accelerant detection dog is a canine that has been trained to sniff out minute traces of accelerants that  have been used to start a fire. These dogs go through extensive training before becoming certified arson dogs. Each arson dog is part of a team that is comprised of the K9 and its handler. The handler is  trained to investigate fire scenes. These teams trained to investigate the causes of fires

Termite  Detection Dogs
Termite detection dog training and supply is another service provided by  K9Centre.com.  We have developed a realistic training approach for dogs and handlers that utilises standard inspection practices along with thorough and proven dog training techniques to develop a canine that is accurate and consistent in the detection of the presence of  live termites.
